Mooshutte in Bad Nenndorf

Cozy location with a varied menu. In great surroundings, it's not just a hotspot for hikers. Large beer garden in the middle of nature. Forest and hiking trails lead right in front of the door into the Diester. Inventive pick-up card even in lockdown!

Very nice starting point for hiking. The kitchen is also praiseworthy and this year's to go campaign is delicious and varied.

Very rustic excursion restaurant in which there are an incredible number of stuffed animals and other ancient objects to marvel at. Nice and friendly staff in dirndl. Unfortunately, the opening times are only until 7 p.m., so dinner is very scarce.

Very cozy restaurant in the middle of the forest to feel good, you can go for nice walks or hikes. The lunch also game on the menu and homemade cakes it is highly recommended.

The service was a bit slow, the food came before the drinks but otherwise I was very impressed by the ambience and atmosphere was also very nice will definitely be back soon !!

Very cozy and clean restaurant. The food is very tasty, at a more than fair price. The staff is also very friendly. You feel very comfortable here even during Corona times. The tables are disinfected after each visit. I'm looking forward to the next visit.

Very pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. This restaurant was in the background for a long time, but it's good that I was finally back. I think I'll come back more often.

The Mooshütte convinced us of the ambience, the location in the middle of the Deister Forest and the food. The conditions were very nice (even though we were there 1 hour before closing time !!), the food came quickly and was really delicious. Home cooking. There was the Jägerschnitzel with fried potatoes, which was really delicious, and the baked potato, which was also very tasty. The price / performance ratio was more than good here.

Location is nice, food is not

Has not been in the Mooshütte for a long time. The food was very good, I had Schnitzel Hawai with salad and fried potatoes. And my friend's baked potatoes with putti and salad. Everything was very good, only the wasps were disastrous, they didn't leave you alone. unfortunately ???

The Mooshütte is a little hidden in the forest near Bad Nenndorf and can be easily reached on foot or by car. For hiking enthusiasts, I recommend starting at the spa gardens in Bad Nenndorf and taking the path through the Süntelbuchen towards Cecillienhöhe. The route takes about 45 minutes. Then you reward yourself with a delicious cake and drink of your choice either outside or in the moss hut. The cakes are highly recommended. We haven't always been lucky with the food. If something is wrong, the friendly staff will fix it immediately.

Great German food. It was really fun and tasted good. Unfortunately, in the middle of Saxony, the waitress in dirndl and the Paulaner beer in Bavarian hut, you think I have landed in Bavaria. No tradition of its own in Saxony-Anhalt in the east? Too bad.

Well, it all started quite harmlessly. In August 2020 we (4 people) rode our bikes up to the Mooshütte. When we arrived there, we were initially very impressed by the surroundings and the atmosphere. This changed slowly after we were seated. After 10 minutes a listless waitress appeared and handed us a note regarding the data (Corona). After another 10 minutes said waitress came back and asked if we wanted the menu. This came 3 minutes later. Without asking for drinks, she wordlessly handed us the menus and left. Nothing happened for the next 20 minutes, at least not at our table. However, there was a lot of activity at the next table. A person who appeared after us was served promptly and drinks were already being served at the other table, where the guests also sat down later. (Maybe regular customers, I don't know). The waitress responded to a hand signal with the hint that we can count on her presence. Then she went away and cleared the tables in the back. and disappeared. After a total of about 45 minutes we ended the misery and drove again. Something like that must not happen, especially since normal regular operation prevailed.

Very nice location ... food good and fresh ... the staff is friendly and courteous. If you need WiFi, you are wrong there ... it doesn't exist there ... I think that's good though, you finally have some peace and quiet. :-)

Even if it was very well attended, it was pleasant. The service staff showed that there was a lot to do. Still, they were kind. The food was excellent. A great location.

Great restaurant, beautiful place. The atmosphere is cozy, fascinating. Great service, helpful staff. Very impressed with the hunting atmosphere inside and out.

A restaurant in the woods surrounded by nature near Bad Nenndorf in Niedersachsen (Lower Sachsen) where you can also drink just coffee and eat cake rather than real meal. Ambience and decoration are nice. Service good. Parking is free

The food was delicious but you could tell, that the sauces were "from the tin". Otherwise the soups are good and the cake too.

Most perfect atmosphere to eat

I've been just walking around, but nice place to drink samthing. ..

Perfect place to have lunch at when you are driving back home from Berlin. The ambiance is sweet, fairytale-ish and pleasant. Food is good and cheap. Staff is friendly.

Nice place in the woods with good German food. Large parking lot in front. Just 5 min to A2 Autobahn. Went there on a sunny Sunday and it was terribly crowded. Even though the waitresses kept cool and friendly and food and drinks were provided in no time. Very tasty and plenty. Can fully recommend and award 5*

Restaurant is surrounded by nature. There were even deers crossing. Waiting time was quite long!
